Using Cube.io

How do I start and stop the timer?

Press and hold the timer area until it turns green, then release to start. Tap to stop the solve. Turn on 15-second inspection in Settings if you want inspection before each solve.

Can I enter a time or adjust a penalty?

On the Timer page, swipe down to enter a time manually. Swipe up to open penalties and, for manually entered times, editing. Swipe left for a new scramble; swipe right to confirm deleting the latest result.

How do I start OLL or PLL training?

Open Algorithms and mark the cases you know as learned. Open Train, choose OLL or PLL, and select execution or recognition practice. You can also open an individual algorithm card and use its practice buttons.

How do I watch an algorithm’s moves?

Open a case in Algorithms, then press and hold one of its algorithms. An animated cube shows the sequence. Tap outside the preview to close it.

Why is a personal best blank?

A case’s execution PB appears after you record an execution attempt. Recognition PBs use correct answers. A case with no qualifying attempts shows a dash.

Does Cube.io work offline?

Yes. Timing, the bundled algorithm catalog, cube diagrams, and training work offline. Links to external algorithm references and this support site need an internet connection.

Where are my solves and learned cases stored?

Practice data is saved locally on your device. Cube.io does not provide an account or its own cross-device sync. Deleting the app can remove its local data. The content export in Algorithms is for case content; it is not a full backup of solve history.

How should I report a bug?

Include your iPhone or iPad model, iOS or iPadOS version, Cube.io version, the steps that caused the problem, and what you expected to happen. A screenshot can help. Check existing issues first in case the problem has already been reported.
